FROM THE 2017 ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES:

In other new business was the attorney’s suggestion at the special July 21, 2016 meeting to grandfather in designs, fences and landscapes that are in violation of the original covenants. The main concern is that the 6 feet privacy fences appear to be in violation of the original HOA covenants. John Morris reported that early on when the control of the property was passed from the builder to the HOA it was approved that these fences could be 6 feet and on each property if they are behind the front of the property closest to the road. There was a motion by John Morris to grandfather in all properties. There was a second by Naomi Cackler. It was voted and approved to grandfather in all property designs, landscape, and fences as they exist April 27, 2017.
